News

February 11, 2010: NEW PICTURES!! Under each horse's info there is now a link to an album FULL of all sorts of pictures. Feel free to check them out!

January 31, 2010: Big adventure today! We drove out to Yermo, Ca (past Barstow) to see Miguel's (now named Diego) new home. Diego is now owned by Karen Layman of Achin Acres Miniature horses www.achinacresminiatures.com. He looks great and Karen can't wait to show him next year. We had a nice time together showing her what Diego could do.

January 30, 2010: Lots of puddle jumpers the past few weeks with the on and off rain storms. We have been trying to drive and ride throughout the rain. All three horses in training are still doing great. Tara/Baby Sister is doing well being ridden, Katherine can now hop on her bareback and ride around with little to no problems. Pyro and Sugar are also doing well in the cart. They are picking up very quickly on what they need to do in the cart, now we just need to get more miles under their girths before show season.

December 19, 2009: BIG NEWS!!! We had a big day today. Baby Sister was ridden with a saddle on around our riding track and did great. She responded well to all of Denice's leg and rein cues. Next we put Pyro in the cart and harness for the second time. He did well with that as well. Pyro was almost too lazy but still did well. Last but not least, we put Sugar in the cart. Before we got her 2 years ago she had not done much but be a pet. It wasn't until the past few months that she really started to get worked with. Amanda did alot of work with her in the training harness the last year or so and she did wonderful her first time in a cart. Sugar walked along very well and was very light and responsive. Both Denice and Amanda drove her in the cart and Sugar acted like she have been doing it all her life.

December 13, 2009: We have RAIN! Several inches during the past week. There are big puddles everywhere and the horses are having a blast playing in them. After being cooped up for a few days, everyone was raring to go. It was hilarious to see them investigating the "lakes".

November 29, 2009: Miguel has been traded for a yearling filly named Hottie! Congratulations to Dawn and family for getting Miguel. Have fun with him!

November 25, 2009: Please feel free to check out our videos of the horses here on youtube.

October 3, 2009: We have a new addition! A beautiful 4 year old quarter horse mare. Baby Sister looks very similar to Amber. She is settling well and has already bonded to her barn buddy, Amber.

August 13, 2009: Vinnie has been sold! A young lady inquired about Noodles and we said she was sold and asked what she was looking for. She wanted a safe, sane, flashy and calm gelding between the ages of 3-7. This fit Vinnie to a "T". They took him on a trail ride that evening and came back on Monday to buy him. Vinnie is now in a great home with another gelding and two girls who are going to trail ride on the streets of Norco.

July 26, 2009: We took Noodles (Hollywood Go Lightly) up to Coalinga, past Bakersfield, to trade for Vinnie (PF Revelation). The trip up was pretty good. Nugget was curious as to where she was going. When we finally met with Vinnie's owner, PJ, we unloaded them both and traded. PJ loves Noodles and she is going right in to training. Vinnie is settling in here and we think that he is fitting in great.
